I have checked and there is no voltage going to the ignition coils. I guess what I need to know, is there only going to be voltage going to the coils when I am trying to kick start the bike? Like a lawnmower, or any other thing that I've seen that uses a magneto you only get a spark when you are turning the engine over. I would think that when you spin the flywheel(magneto or pulse generator) it would send voltage to your ignition coil then hopefully give you a spark. Also how in the world are you guys able to figure out how everything works on the electrical schematic without having a sequence of operation? (what does what and what signal it's looking for)
