info on the RS125 forks

themadscientist » Mon May 05, 2008 7:30 am

I want to upgrade the forks on my NSR50 in the future. I was looking at the NSRmini/NSF forks but I noticed a company makes triple clamps to mount the RS125 upside down forks. These look much stronger than the other forks but I know very little about the RS.
I have found Ohlins forks for the RS125,,,,,,,Shocked After I recovered from seeing the price I decided that was a lotta bit too much and started looking at the Honda original bits.

I have seen what appear to be two different types of sliders that mount the brakes differently, correct? What are the year ranges for each type?

My bike has 12" diameter wheels, I believe the RS125 wheels are taller?
What is the length of these fork tubes?

What adjustments if any do they have? Preload? Compression? Rebound?

I don't mind buying new if they are not "holy crap get me a sedative" price. Can they be bought new from Honda parts dealers?

I hope the RS125 riders can get me caught up on these forks. Question
