Except for the anti-climax to the 2nd Superbike race, when Sykes's Suzuki blew up on the first racing lap, after 5 laps behind the Safety Car and it was red flagged due to oil on the track It was shaping up to be an exciting dash to the flag, denied!

The GSXR blow up was pretty spectacular though
