might help if you list your bike model as well, different carbs for different series i think.

Now unscrew the first float chamber. Push out the float retaining pin and carefully lift out the float. Keep each float and needle with its respective carburettor body. found that on this link, the way i read it its not in the float bowl, anyone with a pic could enlighten us both.
