help with Tyga Chambers cant get a good seal on the Gasket

well as above i am really struggling to get a oil tight seal with these things.
I am not ordering any more honda Gaskets as they are way to expensive.
and i have just ordered some thinner after market items but i don't think they will be thick enough as the hub that bolts to the barrels will not slip inside the lip ? its too round.

i am getting close to cutting them so they will fit (i.e. make them look like the original down pipes.
i have tried exhaust paste. no good.

so what are those of you with Tyga chambers doing with them.
or are we all just letting oil drip every frickin where ?
cheers.
Keith

ps this is a MC28
