I believe the ZZR250 forks will fit right in, though don't quote me on that.
IMO, braided lines are more of a fashion statement, though everyone seems to beklieve the hype about better braking. And a steering damper likewise, unless you're a track loon running daft steering angles. These bikes are very old and staid compared to the modern stuff, and head angles very laid back by todays standards.
