Some organizations dont actually allow kick starters. So that means bump start only. Why? Well I have come across more then one kick starter on the track. They vibrate off unless one properly secures the pinch bolt. Since the majority of club racers have a hard time wiring things like brake caliper bolts, or oil drain plugs, they cant be trusted to wire a kick starter as well.

The drill adapter actually uses the bolt for the fly wheel to spin the crank and start the bike. Most bikes you either need to drill an access hole in the fairing, or remove the fairing to get to this with the tool.

As you have already found, Accu-Product is the ones that carry this tool.
