Any probing about can you mix parts across models, wrong carb makes, ovalising/matching carbs etc. normally provokes a "don't ask for a ruling and you won't get one" type response.
And rightly so, to be fair this is a club race, I've been shot down for this sort of comment on the RGV forum but even the fast fast boys are seconds off the pace that's been run on stock Aprilia 250's on road tyres back in the Aprilia Cup days. It's supposed to be a bit of fun, the idea was to give the KR's that where being whooped by the 400's something to race for. No one here is going to become a GP star.
However, bearing that in mind, a second gained with equipment is a second you've not got to gain with slightly over the edge riding
