It's not difficult to see what's going on in the workshop manual, and I can't say I've come across any aspect that's had me scratching my head, as you have all of your torque settings and even when to use special tools, or fabricate your own, or replace items with new. The workshop manual, combined with the parts book, has more than enough information for you to strip and rebuild your bike from the the bolts up.
