andreb;

In theory in 010 card has too much advance for unleaded fuel.

The reason the ignition on the 010 card is advanced over the 030 is the lead in the fuel causes the air/fuel charge to ignite slower.

This doesn't mean you can't run an 010 card on unleaded fuel, doubtless you can, jetting it richer (a rich mixture burns slower) or running less compression will reduce the speed the flame front travels and running a huge squish clearance (thus effectively making the NSR squishless) or retaining the front head will both increase the distance the flame front has to travel. And thus require more advance.
However a guy on a similar spec motor with both advance, compression and squish optimally set for unleaded (re. Andy's 67bhp unleaded fuel, stock ported road bike) will come past you like you've stopped.
