Something I've noticed about you guys is that I don't hear much about plating as a means to get the clearance. I've seen multiple posts like the one fontyyy posted with guys using an "B" cylinder with a mismatched piston to gain the clearance you're looking for. I see a lot of guys looking for good used cylinders to rebuild their engines as well instead of just having what they already have replated.

I'm having some cylinders plated right now and the reason I asked is because I can have them give me the exact clearance that I request. I'm not racing but for sure wring it's neck in the canyons as I ride with guys with liter bikes most of the time. That post from Matt is the biggest clearances I've seen posted so far even for short tracks. Dude knows what he's doing but I don't think I should go that big for the street.

I'm going to ask for .035 and see how it works out.
