Hey There guys,
i have picked up a mc16, 42000km on the clock, this bike was sitting in a shed on a farm, asked the farmer if he wanted it and he said i could take it away. have had one of these years ago and remember it having issues with the cdi's dying all the time. this one has the same issue, front cdi is dead and has no spark, swapped it with the other one and its fine. i want to rebuild it but was wondering if there is a mod to get past this fault on this model or can rewire it and bypass the cdi alltogether.

P.S. i have resoldered the faulty one but it still not sparking.

any ideas appreciated
