Just cracked the crankcase apart and found some pretty ugly damage...looks like debris got in the barrels and chewed up the bearing side pretty good...

Do you just think I should continue with the rebuild in it's current condition?

There is some serious scarring where the bearing sits. I tried to clean up and file down the burrs as much as I could. When I fit the new crank in, there seems to be a gap, so I'm thinking it's ok...
