Well Andy I don't.
I am an NSR owner since 2005 and since then I ve never had a "proper" one.
Always something was about to go wrong (and sure enough, many times it did).
I was always left with a far less than perfect bike. So I never got to enjoy it.
Putting these days behind me now, I must assemble a reliable bike (bikes to be exact)
So Yes engine failure is unacceptable for me. Once I get it on the road I want 100% reliability, this is the only way to enjoy a bike, for me any way.
Dave my intetntion is to stick to the way Honda didi it, but what does it take to do something like this?
When you rebuild a bike which was sitting on the side of the road for some years, you can't tell how far you have to go, as far as replacing parts is concerned.
Like I said in a previous post, what do you do?
Do you clean your oilpump, prep it and off you go?
Do you rebuild it?
Do you buy a new one?
(Just an example)
So it isn't as simple as it seems initially....
p.s. Andy you must create a rule for extra poser points for those who have the complete NSR lineup....
