At best it's an expensive and untidy wiresplice! The loop of wire that pretends to do a GPS splice (which, as Steve says isn't necessary on a O/Bu spliced harness*) is the icing on the cake!
* It makes about 10hp difference on a non O/Bu spliced harness.
