i was under the impression that the b needles were very similar to the stock needles in terms of profile but just had the adjustment to boot, rethink required then, there'd be no point in me trying to amass a hrc jet kit as it would be overkill, but i thought a set of b needles, holders and kit emulsion tudes plus an array of mains 140-155 would give me the scope to change things if i needed.im just looking for 60hp and i'lldie a happy man
more than aware of re-jetting considerations when carrying out mods, the question to stephen was just to confirm if thats all thats normally required, so i know what to get in before taking a trip to the dyno, the rgv's i had have always benedfitted from altering the needle height along with the main, suppose thats about the only plus of the rgv.
on a lighter note I took the fairing off tonight and it looked like a bird sh@t bomb had gone off, base gasket had developed a slight leak and there was white crap every where, looks like its gone though an expansion tanks worth of coolant, luckily it wiped of ok and it was just a couple of cylinder nuts at needed a re torque, suppose it was the good run yesterday (200 mile around derbyshire) and it getting hot in traffic that did it. no harm done its all hunky dorey now. And clean
