Need 2 no ASAP how much gear oil gose into a 96 rs250 and also wot would people recomend 2 use in it i was thinking silkolene light gear oil???

reason why i ask is i have just drained the stuff out of my bike 2 change and can only get around 290ML which i thought was very low?
