I have a 21 SP that is basically stock. With the chain tension adjusted properly, and the transmission in gear, it seems that the bike can rock excessively forward and backwards (compared to some other bikes).

Is there a specification for how many degrees the output shaft should normally be able to rotate when in gear? Mine seems to have the same amount of (excessive?)play, irrespective of which gear is engaged.
