A cylinder; 54.008-54.011
B cylinder; 54.004-54.008
C cylinder; 54.000-54.004

Service limit (which does imply you can measure it) is 54.02 for all cylinders.

Well, this is why I was asking the question. It sure seems odd to me that my cylinders would have a smaller diameter than the spec in the manual. I guess I did not accurately measure it, or is it like StephenRC45 says? Was the lol meaning that I am measuring wrong, or do you really find stock cylinders less than 54mm?

Remeasuring, I think I came up with 53.924 for the piston, and can't get a decent measurement of the cylinder with my caliper. I think the service limit for the no mark piston is 53.91mm (new, 53.962-53.965).

Anyway, I guess I will not replace the piston at this point, and only put in the new rings. When I do a top-end rebuild next time, I will put in the smaller D pistons to match the cylinders.
