I always swear by those SkidMax Pro (Death Master) Steve. You just can't beat ceramic tyres for longevity.

If I can't find those, I think the Dunlop Alpha's (GPR70SP) are a close second. Designed for 250/400cc bikes unlike the SuperCorsas which are superbike tyres made small (i.e. 150 & 110). And just about the cheapest tyres you can buy. Everyone's a winner.
