Hey,
my right hand side stainless tyga pipe got bent in a crash last year and has finally been fixed. The expansion chamber had been creased over the gull arm when the bike landed following a highside. To fix it i cut along the nearest affected weld, bashed the creases out with some old lead working tools and gave the two bits of exhaust to a friend to weld up. He had alot of trouble with the metal moving as the heat touched it and therefore the cones didnt line up perfectly and now there is a pronounced lip where the two pieces of exhaust join.
I wonder how big an issue something like this is going to be with horsepower? Will it mess with the pressure waves moving through the exhaust massively or make the sort of slight difference you could only see on a dyno?
I'll be having a little test ride tomorrow but it wont be a flat out mission so i cant imagine ill feel a difference at all.
I just wondered what everyone thought?
