Aaarh, I was hoping for some miracle chemical that could clean without taking the whole thing apart.


It'll have to wait to the next crankproblem (knock knock) , hopefully never.

People talk about caustic soda, but I tried to clean aluminium with it. It works but leaves the alu black, not shiny.
