Just solved my 'not so wet clutch' problem. ('O' ring on primary drive shaft within gearbox)
After rebuilding gearbox the kickstart seems to be reluctant to return to its resting position.
When I rev the bike it wants to rotate anti-clockwise.
I took it all to bits to check my assembly and all seemed well but it continues to be the same.
Its as if the return spring wants winding up.
I just shoved the spring anchor end into the notch in the crankcase (at about 6 o'clock if it was a clockface).
The kickstart works fine apart from this.
Just lately I seem to be peppering the forum with dumb questions but I am scared it may lead to something should I ride it.
Any ideas?
