I have an 1996 MC-28 which I believed was a "R" model until recently tinkering with it. The plastics says 250R but I know how easily that could have been changed (the bike has hit the pavement a time or two ). I know nothing this bikes history.
What makes me wonder is that it's a dry clutch and has the rear suspension with remote compression and rebound adjustment. I read where people have changed clutches but not the rear suspension.

How can I know for sure what model I have?
