I appreciate the help offered. And I'll take my lumps on the rest.
As for the cans, who knows? Again, they were there when I bought the bike. I can't control what the previous owner(s) may have done. I'm just looking to put it in good order to enjoy it. With the high price that I didn't pay I can repair/replace the issues that come with this bike.
