My 250 has a a real nasty flat spot if you roll on the throttle real low down.
I was going to try dropping the main jet size and put the PJs back in, hoping this would help cure the rich bottom-end, but just as I was about to do it Stephen seized his courtessy of a blocked PJ - kinda' put me back off the idea!
I'm running "C" needles, the leanest, and #38 SJ, and it's better, but still loves the big mains at the top-end. I'm using dry Ramax foam "pod" filters. Swapping the HRC X-piece (which is open to air) seems to have helped a tiny bit too.
