I always had good braking performance out of my stock calipers, master cylinder and good quality braided lines. It's a matter of getting them bleed so there is no air in the system.
I always use a suction bleeder and bleed out both ends.
Of course my brembo billet aluminum calipers with the brembo MC, braided lines makes the RS stand on it's nose with a single finger. Took a little to get used to, and the learning experience was a little frightening for people around me. They weren't expecting me raise the rear tire that high while trying to out brake them
