Well I'd say it's hard to keep any vintage vehicle clean. Yup easier if you don't use it much but then the hard part is not riding it. I wouldn't slam anyone for having a mint condition motorcycle with zero miles or not, but that's just me.
As far as the orange wheels I can't stand them. I marked a bike down at a show for having orange wheels. Yea the reason was it's not original but I hate them just the same. My bike had orange wheels when I got it and it looked like ass.
So yea we have some low use NSR's like looking4nsr and nsr250repsol but we also have some canyon killers like this one. Ported, matched, flowed, high compression, HRC carded, etc. etc., liter killing mutha. About 2,500 canyon miles a year.
