You may want to check with your NC DMV first and make sure about getting it tagged. I once talked to someone that bought one with a valid TX tag but he could not get it tagged in GA. I bought mine with a GA tag and it transferred fine. I'd just hate to see another person buy one with the intention of putting it on the street and things not work out.
