MC21 cutting out

80XAR » Fri Jan 01, 2010 9:01 am

My bike has developed an annoying problem. It dies after about 10mins of riding. It drops out and will roll to a stop. I let it sit for a minute, kick start it and go another 10mins, then it stops again.
So far, ive put a new battery in (starts alot easier now).
Replaced the fuel filter (which was pretty blocked).
I thought the filter was the problem, but, no, its still cuts out.

Does this sound like a float related issue ? Id like to rule out all other posiblities before i pull the carbs.
Is it possible for both floats to move at the sametime ? I figure, if one has moved, it would still run on one cylnder that hadn't.

Any info would be appreciated
