Some setups certainly do require different spacers. My NF5 RWU front-end uses 2x narrow spacers if I recall correctly, but my NF5 USD front-end uses 1x narrow and 1x wide. The Magteks were a direct fit, but still require different spacers for the different front-ends.

All the spacers I initially used were OEM NSR, although I now have custom alloy ones front and rear.

I think if you look at the R2/4J it uses 2x narrow spacers (although it was some 3 years ago or more when I had the RWU front-end fitted, so I may be mistaken), whereas the R5/6K and MC21/28 use 1x narrow and 1x wide.
