Just over a week to go, got my pair of pgm's from yahoo today so started the wiring in the hope it would be running.

Nope.

These pgm's arent making the same horrid noise as the old one so I'm hoping they were/are good. But still not getting power to the coils.

Everything else works, neutral light, temp gauge.

Checked the continuity between the wiring to and from the pgm, from the pickups and to and from the coils. All seems good.

I've connected the mc16 pickups to the mc18 loom, this is the only area where It could be non compatible I guess, the pickups have 198-205 ohms resistance. Can anyone measure the resistance on some later ones? I'm wondering if they arent giving enough of a 'kick' to trigger the pgm.

I thought I'd found something as the battery only had 10v, but replacing it with a freshly charged one did nothing.

Any more ideas/suggestions? Could really do with this thing up and running by the weekend..
