It's a shame really, cos Steve had just about all of a 1988 too at one point, so between us we could've covered all the F-III models!
The MC16 is still by far the trickest of them all in F-III form though, if not the most powerful. Saying that though, in standard HRC form, it only gives away less than 4hp to an MC21! Mine will use MC18 F-III cylinders however, which have far better porting than the MC16 HRC ones, and may give me back 1~2hp. And yes, I'm afraid I do have the MC16 HRC cylinders too... and the heads!
Waldo, I'm sorry to break it to you, but the GP style pipes on your MC16 aren't HRC. I do have an old scan of an advert for them somewhere on another PC, and seem to recall they are Blue Fox chambers.
