Chain Link Friction

Kubira » Tue Apr 27, 2010 7:48 am

Chain in question is a DID 520, o - ring im pretty sure.

Just wondering about friction between the links. I had the wheel off so i was able to have a geez at the chain. Twisting the links seems to have considerable amount of friction. They dont feel gunked up or anything, just tight, if they werent being stretched around the 2 sprockets they really would'nt like to straiten out at all

Is there any ways to minimise friction like my old bmx bike chains Question
