A man with a white coat once tested a bike's power with an o-ring chain and then with a standard chain. The standard chained test made more horsepower than the o-ring chained test. When the o-ring chain heated up, there was an increase in horsepower. When the standard chain got hot it made less horsepower than the hot o-ring chain.
