I think it's been known for a while that the NSR derestrictor boxes are nothing more than a wire splice.

However, the HRC box is different.

It needs a much bigger hammer to smash one of them apart

At least HRC don't try to kid you into thinking that there's a GPS splice too.

Somebody once (allegedly) said to me that Posh, Mmax etc should be shot for their (allegedly) misleading boxes.
