Joining those 16 wires in (and snipping off one of the PGM plugs on your existing loom) is no small task nor can't be undone tidily.

Swapping the loom out isn't a big job and if he unwires the HRC box from the new loom he'll be left with a useless road loom with one PGM plug missing.

Why people do it I don't understand, it's be OK if it was a nice tidy plug in solution but it's not. The wiresplice is one wire, this is 16!
