The rear fairing has been put on with the lock lug on the wrong side of the release . I did it on mine . I am shore i took the tail light cover of and used a screw driver to push the release if that fails try take the scerws out of the rear fairing and lift the back up enough to get the lock lug over the release and back on the right side.
