Personally I'd remove the PGM plug from a near worthless PGM-III loom before I removed the plug from the quite rare and bizzarely expensive HRC wiresplice in a box.

And I'd swap a loom over before I'd do either, especially if the loom already had the grey plugs spliced into it.

But to be fair I'd rather just splice the orange/blue wire to the black/white wire on a stock loom and leave the rest of it alone.
