yeah, I remember the ball bearing and spring from when I had it apart before - you're likely right that it is stuck in there, probably from corrosion - I didn't have any problem getting it apart the first time, which why this has thrown me a bit. I'll try shooting some oil in there and hope for the best. Thanks!
