There was a pic on Yahoo Japan a little while ago where a guy had done that with an NX5 tank. By the looks of it, he had to bash in the base of the tank to clear the cross member on the NSR frame, as the tank belly sits deeper between the frame spars. Also, the mounting for the race tanks are a lot different too.
