Well, it's debatable that a Daytona filter will be any more free-flowing than what you have already, so personally I doubt I would bother investing in one unless what you have is damaged. They are still available though, as Grant says.

Fitting pods filters inside the stock (but modified) airbox, I would say, is a bad idea. The stock airbox is rather small at the best of times, and I would expect the sides of the filters to touch the the airbox. I doubt that will do you any favours!

You could fit pod filters inside an HRC "airbox". The HRC item is actually a carburettor shield designed to promote still air around the carbs, and is pretty much the same size as the whole area behind and above the carbs. Plenty of room for air to circulate around the pods. Fit the largest pods you can!
