Well, without thinking about it too hard, I suppose I could imagine that there may be some leakage from the right primary compression volume through to the left primary compression volume.
This thinking is just based on the way the centre bearing seal pushes onto the sealing boss on the centre right hand crank web, and the shape of the rubber seal lip. Maybe after a bit of time the sharp sealing edge of the seal wears to be a bit more flat and starts to seal a bit better?
But I am just exercising my imagination here; trying to agree with you for no real reason other than to be nice. Which way around have you experienced leakage?
Maybe if I think a bit more about the pressure dynamics of the 2 primary combustion volumes, I may be able to agree/disagree more strongly? Right now I can't remember which way the crankshaft spins, so I'll get back to you.
