Trace the wires from the switch round to the back of the PGM, you can just unplug the switch itself and connect the wires from the loom togeather. Then the switch is effectively always switched on.

Be careful, if the live side of the switch wiring touches earth it instantly blows a fuse and you can't leave it like that if it does work as the battery will run flat.
