The CR is a vibrating pig at the best of times. I loaded my CR500 engine into my CR250 aluminium chassis for Super Motard. Solidly mounted. No girly rubber bushes.

But the fact is Chris did it and the bike ran. Not perfect but a runner all the same.

And yes, the pipe is very ugly, but the 500 demands a very long pipe as it doesn't rev, and a huge body means you're very limited for space.
