yeah, I've often thought about an NSR 500 project. Something like a one off case and crank, 90 deg V4 configuration naturally! Readily available bearings using CR 125 barrels, pistons and conrods/bearings. RS250 gearbox, CR500 clutch, or NSR dry clutch. 4 pickups on the flywheel and maybe a Motec M880 brain to control it all. Don't know about carbs or powervalves, what to use there! Anyway, its a prohibitivly expensive dream, but passes time on the daily train ride!
