Cheers mate. It 'looks' like a common thing. I might try your trick and take it down the wreckers and ask the same question.

Last time i went there, i scored a brand new L/H switch block, that hadn't been modified to keep the lights on. I turn them completely off during the day.
I relish the extra 0.5hp gained from less ignition drag from driving the 2 x 30watt tyga headlight bulbs !!
