PGM burnt and powervalves fail...

evilhermit » Mon Sep 27, 2010 4:33 am

Hi Guys,

I'm having some big electrical issues with my NSR going back on the road again. I ran the bike and it burnt the PGM III unit while riding really badly as I could smell the burnt wiring inside the box from outside the bike.

When troubleshooting I noticed that the powervalve servo didn't do its on/off thingy when turning on the bike, i.e. it didn't move on/off along the cables making that short noise from the servo everytime you start the bike.

If the servo isn't working or the powervalves are stuck will this cause an overload in the circuit frying the PGM?
