Any slight faith I had in Tom was lost when he asked if the "clunk" his crank made (motor in the bike, both barrels off) was OK. The thing would spin about 40*, lock (with a clunk) so you'd turn it back 5* and it'd spin another 40* or so.
That's never going to be a good thing.
