hey bro, i can't remember having any dramas with the wee rubber things when i did a wet to dry clutch conversion a few months ago. I think they fit over the outer teeth of one of the inner most friction plates - i just had a look at the parts manual and it reckons the friction/fibre plate in question has part number 22202-KV3-840, so if you slide some new rubber things onto that one you should be all good. I'm not 100% sure but think that particular friction plate has different shaped teeth on it so you know which ones to put the rubbers on.

I bet it was a heart breaker when your new ones snapped!
